The name Alchemilla is a corruption of the Arabic al-kemelyah or alchemy.  The name Lady’s Mantle was first used in 1532 in the ‘History of Plants’ and adopted commonly after that.

Care tips

Cut the stems and remove all the leaves that will touch or go below the water level.  Change the water every few days.
