Sneezeweed

Distinguishable by its cone-shaped disc in the middle of the flower head, surrounded by large florets, this perennial herbaceous plant has been around in horticulture for a long time.

Did you know?

Sneezeweed thanks its name to the former use of its dried leaves in making snuff. This was inhaled to cause sneezing that would supposedly rid the body of evil spirits.
