Snowdrops

Galanthus are bulbous perennial herbaceous plants. Most people know these flowers to be the first to pop out in winter, as a very, very early sign of spring.

Did you know?

Galanthus comes from the Greek words Gala ‘Milk and anthos ‘flower’. This refers directly to the crystal white colour of the flower heads.
