About the company

Based in Aalsmeer (NL), Florismart is an online flower marketplace where multiple suppliers are brought together in one webshop. From that webshop, professional florists can buy their flowers, plants, and sundries. The unique thing about Florismart is that florists order from an infinite stock, are able to compare suppliers with each other and are able to order from multiple suppliers at once. This way we are creating a transparent market for the professional florist. We are also starting to pave the way to shorten the flower supply chain and enable growers to sell directly to florists. Florismart is currently operational in the UK and Germany.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • As a CS representative, you’re the customer’s first point of contact (via telephone or electronically)
  • Responsible for order processing
  • Liaising with transport
  • Receives assignment from the Head of CS & Sales
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
  • Perform customer verifications
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Liaise with sales/trainers to encourage customers into training
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Generate sales leads
  • Perform daily tasks within the timescales required by external suppliers
  • Liaise with exporters on quality issues on customer behalf
  • Submit credit claims within the exporter’s timescales
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers and suppliers through open and interactive communication
  • Other customer service functions required to deliver customer satisfaction as and when required

Competencies

  • Customer focused, attentive to details, stress resilient, good communicator, independent, problem-solving, ability to prioritize, team player
  • HBO level (Bachelor)
  • Good knowledge of English & German (speech and writing)
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus
  • Great communication skills
  • Some previous work experience
