Floralism by Florismart at the enchanting Fleuramour

At Fleuramour it truly felt like we had landed in a flower-filled fairytale. The enchanting castle, well-kept gardens, and the stunning flower artworks made us feel like legitimate kings and queens roaming their estate.

The 22nd edition of Fleuramour was held from the 22nd till the 25th of September at the estate of Alden Biesen (BE). This year the theme was ‘Culture’. Over a hundred floral designers used around 120.000 flowers to decorate the castle, church, garden and courtyards with spectacular flower arrangements.

At the sight of the, with flowers decorated, carousel in the castle we instantly felt like children again. While walking into the church it felt like a true paradise of nature. It was an impressive sight.

Besides sightseeing you could also attend workshops with floral artists like Sören van Laer (2nd place at Eurofleurs 2017) and Moniek vanden Berghe.

This year the Florismart Concept Store, led by Merel van den Burg, was once again present and focused not only on inspiring the florist but also on the consumer. In the Floralism by Florismart tent the ‘Circle of Life’ was formed by impressive flower art. The floral designers worked with themes such as birth, weddings, festivities and mourning. As the time progressed an interesting pallet of flower pieces was created, which portrayed the ‘Circle of Life’.

The visitors could enjoy live demonstrations from four Belgian flower artists: Stefan van Berlo, Chantal Post, Dirk de Goede and Max Hurtaud. They designed progressive arrangements with flowers which were sponsored by the growers from our buying platform. For more pictures of Floralism at Fleuramour, visit the Facebook page.
